Ask whether the route includes any foundation projects beyond the reserve and what is optional. Share mobility needs and swimming confidence before confirming. Request current visitor rules directly through the confirmed provider rather than relying on an old entry price or access description.
Share your group size, preferred date and accommodation. Ask which parts of this experience can be arranged exclusively for your group and request an itemised quote.
Ask about a private tourOur Los Ojos Eco Journey refers to the Ojos Indígenas Ecological Reserve associated with Fundación Puntacana in the Puntacana Resort area. The foundation describes a protected forest landscape with freshwater lagoons. This is not Los Tres Ojos in Santo Domingo or an unnamed cenote on a buggy route.
Read the guide: Ojos Indígenas or a Buggy & Cenote Adventure?.
Choose this visit for forest walking and freshwater scenery. Ask which trails and lagoons are included in the current visit format, how long the walk is and where swimming is permitted. Conservation areas can restrict access or activities. Swimming in one designated lagoon does not imply access to every lagoon, and a nature visit should still be enjoyable if a water stop is unavailable.
Choose Los Ojos for a nature-led forest and lagoon outing without off-road driving or a sea crossing. A buggy-and-cenote tour emphasizes driving. Use the reserve’s proper name when comparing quotations so similarly named water attractions are not substituted.
Wear secure walking footwear and bring water, swimwear if permitted and protection for belongings. Follow the reserve’s instructions on swimming, visitor products and trail access. Stay on designated paths, avoid feeding wildlife and leave natural objects in place. Ask about toilets, changing facilities and the distance from reception to the trail.
