Know your starting point

Arena Gorda is on the northern Bávaro hotel strip. A coastal resort address is not a boat departure point: Saona normally involves a road transfer toward Bayahibe, while Catalina commonly uses the La Romana area. A Bávaro party boat may be a more compact outing, but confirm the actual marina and the shared pickup route.

Before arranging pickup

Spell out Palace Bávaro and send the name on your voucher. Do not accept a generic RIU pickup without confirming the building or entrance; access to another RIU facility does not establish its transport arrangements.

  • Use the complete property name and, for condos, the development and building shown on your reservation.
  • Ask for the exact meeting point and pickup window in writing; a hotel listing does not confirm pickup service.
  • Check total door-to-door time, boat boarding requirements and the return plan before choosing a day.
  • Tell the operator about mobility needs, swimming confidence and children’s ages before paying.

Which excursions fit your stay?

Families can compare a boat day with a land activity without giving up every afternoon at the hotel. For snorkeling, ask how much time is spent in the water, what flotation is supplied and whether non-swimmers can remain aboard.
